Sports Earphone (Clip on)

Clip-on sports earphones. Never used. Comes with original packaging.

Tested and still in working condition. However, the foam ear cushions that comes with the set have disintegrated and will need to be replaced.

Office Swivel Chair

Used height-adjustable office swivel chair.

Min. height from floor to seat: 35cm, Max height: 42cm. The fabric covering of the chair has recently been replaced with black suede for greater comfort.

Small hard case luggage

One of my favourite small luggages - but recently 2 of the wheels have shown deterioration of the outer rubber parts. I had gotten the other 2 repaired before, I believe, so they are fine.

Though I like this luggage, didn't feel like it is justified to spend more on replacing the wheels. I have a recommendation for where you could go if you do want to repair the wheel though if you want to take that route. Otherwise, it is still usable for one trip, if you just need something disposable to carry contents you want to offload. You may use it as storage under the bed also - which I thought about doing - but I just have no space for it.

Travel amenities - toothrushes, travel socks etc

I no longer travel as much and have no need for these disposable toothbrushes and paste which I had collected. Also included are travel socks, ear plugs and a small lock with keys.

Can glasses and frames be recycled?

I remembered there used to be a drive by 7-11 (?) where glasses and frames are donated to those who need them in other countries but it no longer exists. Does anyone know where I can send them to?

Samsonite Eye Mask and Ear Plugs

Samsonite Eye Mask and Ear Plugs going for $7. This set is almost new. Ear plugs were never used. Eye mask was put on once, found to be too tight, and placed back into packaging. The circumference is about 44cm, by the way.

Calf guard

I no longer play sports and have had this for a while so the rubber is less stretch-y. I think the elastics can be replaced and the bottom part substituted with parts for a pair of socks, or another band of elastic. Or maybe sewn into a pair of long socks (I like makeover projects, can you tell?).

Toyomi glass jug blender (no blades)

For spare parts. An unused, still in plastic packaging, 1.5L glass jar with the top/ cap.

I really like this model but was too enthusiastic when trying to puree to make soup and spoiled the motor and blade. So I bought a new set which means that I have a spare glass jug.

I'm looking to give the glass jug away. Alternatively, does anyone have blades spare parts you can give me so this can be a functioning blender?

Singapore's Biodiversity Posters

I used to volunteer in the environmental sector where I got these posters. I was lucky to be in a school where teachers had homerooms, so I was able to put these posters up. There are 5 in this set. They have been rolled and so are no longer perfectly straight. One poster in particular, the Singapore's Natural Heritage one (blue), has a bit of discolouration at the bottom right. They are otherwise in good condition.

My appreciation

Just wanted to express my gratitude to all those people who bought the furniture from us when we were relocating - it's good to find new homes for the pieces, as well as have a small fund for the next chapter of our lives. Also, I am very grateful to the Freecyclers whom I met - some of whom have amazing stories to tell. I'm so humbled at how some of you use those things that were given away to help others.

I'm now joining the growing ranks amongst you who are embarking on a long distance relationship. In the meantime, as I move back to the home I grew up in, I will have to make a space for myself. Thus, I will have to embark on yet another round of sorting between items that are necessary and those that are nice to have. Yikes, pretty painful having to go through the process of culling again - but hey, change never taps you on the shoulder and asks if it can come into your life, it just barges through the door!

I've had a chance to meet so many people through Craigslist, Gumtree and Freecycle and overall, it's been a wonderful experience, especially those with whom I got to chat a little bit more with. Here's to round 2 and meeting more of you!
